Celebrity body doubles: Rihanna, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Shakira.
Pear shape: Your hips are wider than your shoulders, with a small waist and petite upper body.
You’ll want to show-off: Your tiny waist, arms and décolletage.
Your go-to style: Accentuate your upper body with fitted tops and strapless dresses – pretty much any style will flatter you here. Flowing skirts and bootleg jeans also, look great on your shape. Skinny jeans can make your hips and thighs look bigger, so shift the focus with bright coloured or patterned tops, and elongate your body by adding heels.

Celebrity body doubles: Kim Kardashian, Sophia Vergara, Beyoncé.
Hourglass shape: Your shoulders and hips are in proportion to each other, with a defined waist.
You’ll want to show-off: Your curves!
Your go-to style: Never, ever try to hide those curves – it will just make you look bigger than you really are. Accentuate your best assets them with tight or tailored jeans, waist-skimming tops, high-waisted skirts and wrap dresses. You can dress down with flats but heels will obviously help you look longer.

Celebrity body doubles: Drew Barrymore, Jessica Simpson, Angelina Jolie.
Apple shape: You tend to be more top-heavy with slim bottom-half.
You’ll want to show-off: Those pins and your buns!
Your go-to style: Find anything to show off those legs and you’re onto a winner. Your look isn’t limited – skinny jeans will highlight your best bits, while bootleg styles will help make your bottom half look more in proportion with the rest of your body. Short dresses and shorts are also flattering pieces, keeping the focus where you want it to be. To create the illusion of a waist and elongate the torso, go for v-neck or empire style dresses and tops. Steer clear of high-neck or baggy styles that fall from your chest and avoid anything that cinches at the waist.

Celebrity body doubles: Mila Kunis, Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow.
Rectangle shape: Your shoulders, waist and hips are all a similar size. Taller rectangles can look athletic, while their shorter friends tend to look petite.
You’ll want to show off: Everything! Since you’re all in proportion, you have nothing to hide.
Your go-to style: To create the illusion of curves, look for clothes that define your mid-section and give your figure a bit more shape. Accentuate your waist with a tight tops and belted dresses. Ruffles and feminine details can also help here. And of course, slimline anything will be flattering on your bod. What to avoid? Baggy pants can make you look shorter and boxy and anything too baggy isn’t doing you any favours – you’ve got it so flaunt it!
