DIY Oatmeal Mask!

Combine 1/2 cup hot—not boiling—water and 1/3 cup oatmeal. After the water and oatmeal have settled for 2 to 3 minutes, mix in 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 small egg white. Apply a thin layer of the mask to your face, and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse with warm water. (Be sure to place a metal or plastic strainer in your sink to avoid clogging the drain with the granules.)

strawberries

Strawberries Yum!

Strawberries don’t only taste great but they are also great for your skin. Strawberries contain vitamin C, salicylic acid, antioxidants and exfoliates. Salicylic acid helps removes dead cells from the face while tightening the pores. Salicylic acid is common in most over the counter acne medicines and ellagic acid being an antioxidant combats skin damage which helps maintain youth and freshness in the skin.
